Looking for a family dentist in Brandon, FL for kids and adults?

Dental Day is a family dentist in Brandon, FL where preteens, teens, parents, and grandparents all see the same dentist, Dr. Shadan Hafsa, DDS, at 611 E Bloomingdale Ave, Suite C. We accept major dental PPOs and many Medicare Advantage plans — Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare (AARP), Cigna, Florida Blue, and others — so parents and grandparents can be covered in the same office.

Call (813) 820-0071 or walk in Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; dental emergencies get priority. We serve families from Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, and Seffner.

Because there's one dentist, there's one set of records and one person who knows your family's history — whether that's a 6th-grader's first sealants, a teen's Invisalign, a parent's tooth-colored filling, or a grandparent's new dentures. Cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, cosmetic care, and emergency visits all happen here.

Why families choose Dental Day

  • The same dentist for everyone. No rotating doctors, no getting passed around — Dr. Hafsa gets to know your whole family, from preteens to grandparents.
  • A gentle touch. Dr. Hafsa is known for putting anxious patients (and children) at ease.
  • Clear answers for parents and caregivers. We explain what we see in plain language and give you a written treatment plan with costs before anything begins.
  • Less radiation, less fuss. Digital X-rays use about 90% less radiation than old film X-rays, and an intra-oral camera lets your child see their own teeth on a screen.
  • No traditional shot for most numbing. The Wand numbs just the tooth being treated — no numb lip or cheek for the rest of the day.
  • One office for every plan in the family. Major dental PPOs for working parents, many Medicare Advantage plans for grandparents — we verify everyone's coverage before the visit.
  • Walk-ins welcome. Dental emergencies get priority, for every member of the family.

Can parents and grandparents use different insurance at the same office?

Yes. We're in-network with most major dental PPOs and select HMOs, and we accept many Medicare Advantage dental plans from carriers including Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare (AARP), Cigna, and Florida Blue. Call (813) 820-0071 with each person's card and we'll verify coverage before the visit.

Are you taking new patients?

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome during office hours, Monday–Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and dental emergencies get priority. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

My child is nervous about the dentist. Can you help?

Dr. Hafsa is known for putting children and anxious patients at ease. We explain each step, show kids their teeth on the intra-oral camera, and never rush.

What do you do to prevent cavities in preteens and teens?

Cleanings, sealants, and fluoride — plus practical tips for parents and grandparents.

How often should my family get checkups?

For most people with healthy gums, every six months. If you have, or have been treated for, gum disease, every three months.

Can you help a teenager straighten their teeth without metal braces?

We offer Invisalign clear aligners. Some plans help pay part of the cost of orthodontics for children — we'll check your plan's orthodontic benefit first.
